Classics and Cocktails: "The House of Mirth," by Edith Wharton

The Classics and Cocktails Book Club discusses modern and vintage classic novels we've always wanted to read, accompanied by a paired cocktail (included). 

Our September classic is "The House of Mirth," Edith Wharton's tart tragedy (and most popular novel) of a beautiful but impoverished orphan in New York's Gilded Age, whose efforts to find her place in high society makes her one of literature's most unforgettable characters.
