On Monday, April 14, at 6:30PM, the ridiculously popular Debbie Millman — she of the 425,000 Instagram followers and the 5-million-listener podcast “Design Matters” — will visit the Bookshop to celebrate and read from her new book, “Love Letter to a Garden.”
The book illustrates Debbie’s lifelong journey to create a successful garden, through essays, photos, paintings, and a set of garden-inspired recipes from Debbie’s wife, the brilliant essayist and NY Times columnist Roxane Gay. Oprah Daily called the book “a poignant, visual ode to the natural world’s power to sustain, inspire, and regenerate.” The American Horticultural Society said that the book “reveals the joys of gardening that no amount of failure can diminish.”
I would love to fill every seat for this event (ideally, it will be outdoors among the springtime blossoms of the Reading Garden). As an incentive, pre-purchasers of “Love Letter to a Garden” get 15% off the book (this week only), plus priority seating and a signed limited-edition print from Debbie.
