Gitane Magique: Gypsy Jazz & Farm to Fork Picnic

Spend the late afternoon on the lawn of the farmhouse, listening to great music and enjoying great food. Bobolink be serving up a great farm to fork picnic, available for sale online and at the event as well. The offerings feature items produced at the farm, including cheese plates made from their own cheeses & breads, burgers made with the farm's own pastured meats, and suckled veal & bacon sausage on a roll with cherry mostarda. Dessert will be ice cream from The Bent Spoon! The menu is posted on the reservation page, so you can pre-order or purchase at the event, while supplies last.

About the Band:
Take one jazz violinist, two virtuoso guitarists and a hard driving acoustic bassist, mix in some swing and latin rhythm and you get GitanMagique or in english “Magic Gypsy”. Steeped in the 1930’s French jazz of Django Rienhardt and Stephan Grappelli, but with contemporary attitude, Gitan Magique performs unique arrangements of well known jazz and classical repertoire as well as engaging original works. Their combination of extraordinary musicianship and seasoned showmanship lets them easily to connect with a wide variety of listeners be it jazz, pop or ethnic music.
