Modern Troubadour Matt Nakoa in Concert

The Sunday Music Club welcomes award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Nakoa.

Matt Nakoa is a "jaw-dropping" (Boston Globe) soulful performer with a yearning tenor voice and classically-trained musical chops reminiscent of Martin Sexton. He trained as a concert pianist and won a scholarship to Berklee in vocal performance, before honing his performance chops in Manhattan's all-night piano bars and stages around the US.

When he is not touring major theaters supporting folk icon Tom Rush, Matt is performing around the world, selling out 200-300 seat concert halls. It is our great fortune to have persuaded him to perform for the Sunday Music Club.
