ArtYard and the Frenchtown Bookshop are excited to announce that award-winning drummer Arthur Vint is bringing his high-octane ensemble to Frenchtown to perform the film scores of composer Ennio Morricone ("The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly," "A Fistful of Dollars") and project scenes from those films.

Arthur Vint performs more than 250 concerts each year, at concert halls including Carnegie Hall in NYC, the Olympia Theater in Paris, and the Hammersmith Apollo in London. In 2019, Ennio Morricone’s 90th birthday, Vint rearranged Morricone’s often-symphonic film scores for a nine-piece jazz orchestra, recorded those arrangements on the album “Death Rides A Horse,” and toured the country presenting “Morricone at 90.”

For this special performance, the band will perform selections from Morricone’s films, including “Once Upon a Time in the West,” Death Rides A Horse,” and “For A Few Dollars More.” Clips from the films will be projected on the two-story-tall movie screen at the McDonnell Theater.

Tickets cost $35. Order them at ArtYard.org.
