These days, thanks in part to our sedentary lifestyles and technology usage, we spend less time moving our joints regularly. However, maintaining joint health and mobility is fundamental to overall well-being as we age. When our joints don’t move easily and our range of motion is limited, chronic conditions like arthritis and inflammation can develop.
In this class, we will use Mukunda Stiles’ “Joint Freeing Series” exercises to gently and mindfully move each area of the body in order to release tension and gain mobility. Matching the breath to the movement has the added benefit of relaxation, energy balancing, and stress relief.
