Pride Celebration Frenchtown Style... Allies are encouraged to attend and participate.
We begin the day with a LGBTQ Service in Sunbeam Park led by the Frenchtown United Methodist Church followed by a sidewalk parade and party at the park! Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to set up shop in the park for the day.
10am | Pride Merchandise and Art Vendor set up in Sunbeam Park
11am | LGBTQ service in Sunbeam Park
12-12:30 | Gather at the corner of Race and Second St. for parade prep! Musical instruments are welcome. Flags are available for pickup at Sunbeam Park before the parade.
12:30 | Sidewalk Pride Parade. We will "sidewalk parade" around Race down Bridge Street ending at Sunbeam park
1-3pm | Pride Party and Picnic in the Park with Music, Vendors, Henna by Catherine Lent, and Hangout. An afternoon of dancing, kids crafts and overall sharing of love for one another in whatever form we take! Bring chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and snacks for yourself and others!!
