Frenchtown is proud to be a diverse and inclusive community that welcomes ALL people!

We are pleased to present the Third Annual Frenchtown PRIDE! A family friendly day of Love and Acceptance expressed OUT loud - all are welcome! Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Allies... the entirety of the Queer community. A family friendly day of Love and Acceptance expressed OUT loud - all are welcome! 

Join us for the THIRD Annual Frenchtown PRIDE celebration in May, where we gather in support of our beautiful and bold LGBTQ brothers and sisters. We encourage all residents and visitors who support equality to come out and make this event even better in its third year!!

Pride Celebration Frenchtown Style... Allies are encouraged to attend and participate. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to set up shop in the park.

10am | Pride Merchandise, Art Vendor, Story board and Food vendor set-up in Sunbeam Park

11am | LGBTQ service in Sunbeam Park led by Peter Mantell of the Frenchtown United Methodist Church

12 | Sidewalk Parade - Parade prep begins in Sunbeam Park. Musical instruments, props and custom flags are welcome and encouraged. Parade steps off shortly after 12 and will loop through town returning to the Park.

12:30 | Pride History and Stonewall 50th Anniversary Recognition

An afternoon of dancing, art, pride stories and sharing of love for one another in whatever form we take!


Monday, May 13

5:00 Hanging of the Flags!

We will meet at Sunbeam Park to assemble and hang PRIDE flags around town. Many hands make light work, please consider helping!


Friday, May 17

7:00-10:00 Fashion With A Twist!

A fashionable fundraiser held at Frenchtown Home and Hardware. Local characters and Frenchtown famous will be modeling fashions by The Junto Emporium, Country Chic Boutique, Euphoria Studio Salon and River Gypsy Boutique. Food, beverages, live music and a gift basket raffle will round off the evening. Cover charge is $20.00 per person (cash or check at the door) with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to the Frenchtown Elementary School’s performing art program. Please come out in support of our youngest community members!

11:00-3:00 Frenchtown PRIDE!

Sunbeam Lenape Park will be transformed into an LGBTQ festival ground, beginning with a worship service led by Pastor Peter Mantell of Frenchtown United Methodist Church, followed by a PRIDE parade, DJ ARM dance party, interactive story board, PRIDE history, storytelling, food truck and vendors!

- Flags (5/13 5pm-7pm)

- Kickball setup and cleanup (5/15 - 5:30pm)

- Kickball cleanup (5/15 - 8pm)

- Pride setup (5/19 - 9am)

- Pride management (5/19 -  anytime between 10am to 3:30pm) - help facilitate the day, vendor set up, man the FBPA tent to greet attendees, keep an eye on things to help the day run smoothly.

Lovefrenchtown is the Frenchtown Business & Professional Association (FBPA); a volunteer run, member supported, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local business and enriching our community. Mobilizing through media, town events, downtown beautification efforts, strong relationships with other community interest groups and expressing a voice in local government, the FBPA aims to elevate the experience of all who share our streets.

Frenchtown, NJ is located on the beautiful banks of the Delaware River in Hunterdon County just over one hour from New York City and Philadelphia. Thirty minutes from the Pennsylvania towns of Doylestown, Easton, New Hope and Lambertville, NJ.

Please consider joining our Events committee to plan and execute Frenchtown Events including Frenchtown Pride. PRIDE aims to grow in conjunction with New Hope Celebrates.  We are looking for volunteers, planners, helping hands, connected community members, artists and sponsors!
